Woman
Thresholds ask something of us.
Research-informed, heart-centred support through fertility, pregnancy, birth, menopause and the thresholds of a woman's life.
There are times when the old way is no longer working, but what comes next has not yet fully revealed itself. These are thresholds: times of physical, emotional and personal change when we may need space to reflect, practical knowledge and support to see what we cannot yet see for ourselves.
My work brings together physiology, research, clinical experience, movement and bodywork, with deep respect for the knowledge held within each woman's own body.
Menopause & Perimenopause
Menopause is far more than a hormonal event.
Many women arrive feeling confused, exhausted, overwhelmed by conflicting information or simply disconnected from themselves and their bodies. They know something is changing, but they are not always sure why, what is influencing it or where to begin.
It is a significant life transition that can affect sleep, mood, energy, concentration, physical health, confidence, relationships and sense of self.
My approach brings together more than thirty years of clinical experience, over a decade of menopause-focused work and a Masters in Physiology. It recognises the complexity of menopause and supports women to understand what is happening in their bodies, what may be influencing their experience and what they can do to support themselves.

The 10-Week Menopause Programme
A research-based, evidence-informed programme combining menopause education, Hormone Yoga, movement and practical lifestyle support.
This programme offers women a clear and supported way through the noise.
Across ten weeks, you will learn what is happening in your body and explore the many factors that can influence your experience of menopause. You will build realistic strategies around movement, sleep, nutrition, stress, recovery and long-term health that work within your actual life, not an imaginary life with endless time, energy and resources.
The programme combines current evidence with practical education, embodied learning and the shared experience of a group. The intention is not simply to give you more information. It is to help you turn that information into meaningful and sustainable change.
What the programme includes
This is not about fixing you or telling you that there is one correct way to navigate menopause. It is about giving you the knowledge, tools and support to understand your body, make informed decisions and move through this transition with greater confidence, strength and self-trust.
Is this for you?
This programme may be right for you if you feel like a stranger in your own body, are overwhelmed by conflicting menopause advice or are exhausted despite trying to do all the right things.
It may also support you if poor sleep, stress, anxiety or overwhelm are affecting your wellbeing; if you sense that there is more influencing your symptoms than hormones alone; or if you want practical, sustainable change rather than another quick fix.
You do not need to arrive knowing what to do. You only need to be willing to become curious about your body, engage with the programme and make space for yourself within your own life.

My Menopause Journey
Hormones don't sell, I was told.
My interest in women's health did not begin with menopause. It began much earlier through my own experience of hormonal volatility and the effect it could have on mood, energy, wellbeing and resilience.
That curiosity led me to train in Hormone Yoga with Dinah Rodrigues in 2012. By 2015, I was teaching Hormone Yoga and menopause workshops and advocating for a more holistic and informed approach to women's health.
This was long before menopause became a mainstream conversation. I remember being told by a well-meaning family member that "hormones don't sell." If I am honest, I allowed that opinion to dent my confidence for a while and stepped back from work I cared deeply about.
But my curiosity never disappeared.
Through years of clinical work, I saw that women's experiences of menopause were shaped by much more than hormonal change. Stress, nervous system health, sleep, movement, relationships, work demands and the cumulative effects of years spent caring for others all played a part.
I wanted to investigate this properly, so I returned to the University of Galway and completed a Masters in Physiology. My research evaluated an integrated physiotherapist-led menopause programme combining education, yoga-based movement and lifestyle support.
The day I submitted my thesis was also the day I officially became menopausal myself.
My research confirmed what I had observed clinically for years. Menopause is complex, deeply individual and influenced by multiple interacting factors. That research, together with my clinical and personal experience, became the foundation of this programme.
A Balanced and Individual Approach
I believe women deserve more than a prescription. They deserve understanding.
Hormone Replacement Therapy can play an important role for some women, and appropriate medical assessment is essential when symptoms or red flags need further investigation. I am also a strong advocate for lifestyle medicine and for the body's remarkable capacity to adapt, recover and build resilience.
These approaches do not need to compete with one another. There is no magic bullet and no single solution that is right for every woman. There is your body, your health, your circumstances and the choices that are right for you.
My role is not to become the expert on your body. It is to help you become the expert. To understand your patterns, trust your observations, recognise what supports your wellbeing and make informed decisions from a place of knowledge and self-trust.
My role is not to become the expert on your body. It is to help you become the expert.
Fertility Foundations
Individual pre-pregnancy support
A four-session package bringing together personalised health education, Hormone Yoga, somatic practice and Chinese medicine-based bodywork.
Preparing for pregnancy can become intensely focused on tests, timing and outcomes. Fertility Foundations creates space to support women within that process.
This individual package takes a wider view of fertility health. We begin with your health history, current medical care, hormonal and menstrual experience, stress, sleep, nutrition, movement and the demands of your everyday life. From there, we create a practical and personalised pathway to support your body as you prepare for pregnancy.

Session One: Your Fertility Foundations | 60 minutes
Our first session focuses on you. We explore your health history, current medical or fertility care, menstrual cycle, lifestyle and individual needs. You will receive personalised guidance around nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management and nervous-system support, with clear and realistic practices to begin at home.
Session Two: Hormone Yoga and Somatic Practice | 90 minutes
This private session introduces the Hormone Yoga sequence developed by Dinah Rodrigues and adapts it to your body, health and experience. The session also includes somatic bodywork and self-regulation practices to support safety, relaxation, embodiment and a deeper connection with your body.
Sessions Three and Four: Tui Na Abdominal and Pelvic Bodywork | 90 minutes each
Tui Na is a therapeutic form of bodywork rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and supported by the physiological principles of massage, myofascial work and manual therapy. Using rhythmic compression, effleurage, kneading, acupressure and fascial techniques, these sessions work with the abdomen, pelvis, lower back and surrounding tissues to reduce soft-tissue and fascial restriction, encourage local blood flow and lymphatic drainage, support nervous-system regulation and create greater mobility and ease.
Within Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tui Na is also used to support the movement of Qi and blood through the body's meridian system. This work brings together the traditional foundations of the practice with a modern physiological understanding of how skilled touch influences circulation, connective tissue and the nervous system.
Throughout the four sessions, you will be supported to understand your body more deeply, recognise the factors influencing your health and develop practices that can continue beyond our work together.
Investment: four individual sessions | €495

Pre- and Postnatal Support
Individual support through pregnancy, birth and recovery

Pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery bring significant changes to a woman's body and life. My approach begins with the woman in front of me: her pregnancy, health history, birth experience, symptoms, circumstances and what she needs at this stage.
Support may include physiotherapy assessment and treatment for pregnancy-related back, pelvic and musculoskeletal pain; preparation for birth; abdominal and pelvic recovery; safe movement during pregnancy; and a gradual return to exercise after birth.
Bodywork, hands-on treatment and nervous-system support may also be included where appropriate.
There is no standard timetable for pregnancy or postnatal recovery. Care is individual, collaborative and adapted to your body, your circumstances and where you are now.
