Speaking, Workshops & Research

Creating conversations that inspire meaningful and lasting change.

Translating complex health information into practical, accessible and meaningful insight — without stripping it of depth.

I am an experienced educator, researcher and speaker with a passion for translating complex health information into practical, accessible and meaningful insight without stripping it of depth.

I create rich and masterfully layered experiences, exploring how we move, breathe, think and feel down to the subtlest parts of who we are.

Drawing on more than thirty years of clinical experience, my research in women's health, and my work in nervous-system regulation, chronic pain, embodied wellbeing and yoga, I deliver talks, workshops and educational programmes for organisations, community groups, professional audiences and conferences.

I am known for warmth, authenticity and an ability to bridge science with real life. The intention is not simply to transfer information. It is to create learning that can be felt, understood, integrated and lived.

Research

MSc Physiology, University of Galway.

My Masters in Physiology at the University of Galway evaluated a programme I developed over the past ten years and implemented a twelve-week physiotherapist-led intervention combining menopause education, yoga-based movement and behaviour-change strategies for women navigating menopause.

The mixed-methods research explored symptoms, quality of life, stress physiology, physical-health measures and women's lived experience. It demonstrated the value of a wider, person-centred and physiotherapist-led approach to menopause care — one that addresses far more than hormones in isolation.

My research interests include lifestyle medicine, menopause, stress physiology, nervous-system health, embodied practice, behaviour change, chronic pain, healthy ageing and the evolving role of physiotherapy in whole-person care.
